NOTICE ON HOW TO DRESS ON SATURDAY *** OPTIONAL****

if you are coming with a group from your church, etc. and want to represent your sisterhood, wear a tshirt with your church women's ministry logo and green or pink camo pants

if you are coming alone or with other sisters and don't have a ministry logo, that is fine...just wear camo "to get in theme" for the weekend that is fine as well. Pink or green. You can buy CEFL shirts here and you can get your camo gear here

Finally if you don't want to come dressed in theme at all that is fine as well...dressing in theme is totally optional but wouldn't it make a great picture!

Pow Wow 9 am Doors Open

The Warring Women Pow Wow will be held at Dr. Liz's (CEFL Founder) NY home church Primitive Christian Church.

Christians are told to not be overcome by evil, but to overcome the evil with good. (Romans 12:21) Overcome means conquer and come out victorious. It involves fighting and winning the fight. We can overcome evil because we are born of God (1 John 5:4) and greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world. (1 John 4:4) Our faith is the victory that overcomes the world and if we believe that Jesus is the Son of God, we can overcome evil! (1 John 5:4-5) God is the one who gives us victory (1 Corinthians 15:57; 2 Corinthians 2:14)

Furthermore, we are told to fight the good fight of faith (1 Timothy 6:12) and wage the good warfare. (1 Timothy 1:18) Wage means to fight, to be a soldier. 2 Timothy 2:3 confirms that we are to be “good soldiers of Jesus Christ.” Verse 4 goes on to say, “And as Christ’s soldier, do not let yourself become tied up in the affairs of this life, for then you cannot satisfy the one who has enlisted you in His army.”  It is the devil that we are fighting. We are told to resist him, or set ourselves against him. He is our adversary, our enemy in this battle. (1 Peter 5:8-9)

It is God who trains our hands to war and our fingers to fight. (Psalms 144:1) He gives us the needed weapons. 2 Corinthians 10:4 says, “We use God’s mighty weapons…to knock down the Devil’s strongholds.” We are to put on the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:11a), which is the armor of light (Romans 13:12). God’s armor will enable us to stand strong against the wiles (deceit, trickery) of the devil. (6:11b) Our weapons include the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the Gospel, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of God’s Word. (Ephesians 6:14-17)

We are tired of the devil having his way in our lives. We are going to war!

Join other sisters in NYC this weekend when we declare war on the enemy and fight for our lives, the lives of our families, children, marriages, fight for our schools, our churches, declare and decree things into being.
